This seminar, devoted to the genre of poetry, is only for those interested in working on a variety of the forms that compose the domain of English language poetry. The purpose of the seminar is to open our selves to the practice of reading, writing, meditating and conversing on and critiquing a host of poems, published and unpublished. Plentitude, diversity, traditions, experimentalism, discipline and openness: these are some of the (contradictory) goals we will work toward.
Instructor Approval required to finalize registration. Please submit creative writing sample to Professor Lim at slim@english.ucsb.edu
