Evidence Paragraphs:

Give a single sentence title to each of the paragraphs in this essay:
Are the transitions between paragraphs smooth?
Is each paragraph clearly related to the thesis?
Does the thesis logically follow the evidence in the paragraphs?
Do you too much time on your own emotions without textual support?
Are literary terms used correctly and for a reason?
Are new, vague, or unfamiliar terms defined?
Is every idea supported by quotations and examples from the text?
Is each paragraph unique, avoiding repetition?

Quotations:

Do the quotations support the thesis?
Is each quote critically addressed and explained? Properly cited?

Conclusion:

Does the conclusion appropriately restate the achievements of the paper?
What does it offer beyond a summary?

References

Are the paper's references correctly cited in MLA format?
