Areas of Interest |
| Ben Shockey is interested in modernism, aesthetics, and gender. He is currently working on the relationship of architecture, enclosure, and urban space to the creation of identity and community. He is also interested in the aesthetic, literary, social, political and personal uses of excess. In the English department he is affiliated with the Diversity Work Group, the Modernism group, and the Culture, Gender, and Aesthetics group. |
