Talya Meyers studies representations of the Middle East, Asia, and Africa in early modern European literature, materialism, and sustainability. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2015, where she received the Lieberman Fellowship, a Mabelle McLeod Lewis Memorial Fund grant, and the Alden Dissertation Prize, among other honors. She has published on Milton, Spenser, and epic theory.
