This menu could also be made more graphically interesting, for example with an image and client-side image-mapping. Authors can choose a background image for the central table on this page to match their main topic pages if they like (in place of the white background seen here). Most other HTML features can be used. But there is a limit to how much authors can customize the arrangement of text, tables, etc., on the the search_results.htm and xsearch_results.htm pages (plus portions of other pages) because these pages are set up to insert repeating elements from the database.
