Details: This is a compilation of zines created by students in the course 128NA: Indigenous Feminist, Queer, & 2 Spirit Memoir. Students researched Indigenous engagement with the history of feminist and queer print culture, independent bookstores, and zines and then created their own course zines. Students in each discussion section developed a collective theme and then produced individual pages on the group theme. The pages were then compiled into a zine reflecting how UCSB English students from a wide variety of identities and experiences have reflected on life writing and zine art through the group theme. Students are encouraged to attend local zine fairs, research zines online and archives, and continue to produce their own self-published work.
