Explores how fantasy literature imagines the life we share with others. It considers how modern fantasy looks beyond what seems most obvious and allows for different ways of relating to the world. It also examines fantasys concern to create beings and ecosystems that do not exist.

For those who declared in Fall 2023 or later, this course can fulfill one of two subject requirements for the English major:
