Surveys 20th & 21st Century AfroLatinx literature across genre and form. The course focuses on the diverse range of AfroLatinx subjectivities articulated through primary materials such as poetry, theater, performative genres (e.g., slam poetry), prose (e.g., fiction and various non-fiction genres and forms), as well as mixed-genre works across time, place, and population.
