Alexander Polt-Gifford
Alex Polt-Gifford (he/e) is a PhD student whose work is grounded in experience with teaching and information science. His research focuses on 20th-century American literature and global modernisms. He is interested in theories and representations of memory — personal, collective, cultural, national — through the lenses of Indigenous studies, Black studies, disability studies, and ecocriticism. He is committed to learning, relearning, and practicing decolonial and accessible pedagogy.
