Alyssa Hare is a Ph.D. student in the Department of English, where she researches postmodernist, feminist, and cultural studies approaches to twentieth and twenty-first century narratives of American routines. She earned her M.A. in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2026 and her B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2022. Prior to studying at UCSB, Alyssa worked in community services as a recreation professional for multiple municipalities located in Southern California.
