Saide Kamille Singh (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in the English Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her dissertation is a feminist Caribbean food study that examines how African and Indian descendent Guyanese and Trinidadian women have enacted overt and furtive resistances against colonialism through their reclamation and reorientation of food production.
