Amrah Salomón in “Hostile Terrain 94”
UCSB English Professor Amrah Salomón’s poetry is currently being featured in the collaborative art and history exhibit “Hostile Terrain 94” at the Museum of Us in San Diego! The exhibit focuses on on the violence of the U.S.-Mexico border. It includes a large interactive map of migrant deaths at the border in Arizona, film and visual art representing occupied O’odham homelands, a timeline of historical and policy information, art, and installations that explore the journeys of migrants and the impact of the border on Indigenous peoples.
