Section 10. Advancement to Candidacy
After passing the second qualifying exam, the student must file the appropriate forms with Graduate Division to advance to candidacy. It is the student’s responsibility to initiate this process; however, the Staff Graduate Advisor is available to offer assistance as needed. After all the forms are filed, Graduate Division will notify the student of their advancement to candidacy (P2 status).
